She was nervous. As I walked into the room I could see that her hands were slightly shaking and her feet were tapping constantly as she passed nervous smiles back and forth to her bridesmaids as they all got ready for the ceremony.
One of the most beautiful moments of the day was seeing this beautifully nervous bride walk towards the church and down the isle. As soon as she locked eyes with her man, you could see that nervous smile melt away. She was there. He was there. Nothing looked more normal or right to them. It was the moment they had been waiting for for years and no moment could be more special. How lucky I was to witness it.
Em and Pete’s day was beautiful. A real joyous celebration of two friends coming together and you could tell that everyone there was super excited to be celebrating with them.
