These two gorgeous people were married at the start of March (sorry a little late I know!) and I couldn’t have dreamed of photographing a more genuine, lovely and super cute couple!
Congratulations Jay & Kat!
Dan and Kate were married in the Dandenong’s at the end of December last year. Their wedding was absolutely lovely! One thing that I loved about their wedding day was that they decided to have most of their portraits taken before the ceremony. It was a lovely change to what I am used to and it meant that Dan and Kate were able to have ‘A First Look,’ which is basically where the bride and groom plan a special moment to see each other for the first time (a little more privately) other than in front of everyone at the ceremony. Dan and Kate decided to have their First Look at Schwerkolt Cottage in Melbourne’s east before we headed off to the venue for their ceremony.
I think my favorite moment of their day was leaving Kate standing by a tree in the shade (which was around the corner from when Dan was waiting to see her for the first time). She was a little nervous but so so excited to see her man. Watching Kate start walking towards Dan, while her family and friends watched on was so very special. Dan’s face as he laid his eyes on Kate for the first time was electric and beautiful. I felt very lucky to witness that beautiful moment.
Congratulations Dan + Kate!
Enjoy your images.
These two were married last Saturday (yes it was the day it rained and rained and rained and rained). The rain didn’t stop them though, I don’t think anything could have. The looks these two were giving eachother made it clear to everyone that they were just happy to be in each other’s arms… rain, hail or shine.
